Location & Arrival

Just a 15-minute drive from Punta Cana International Airport, Hyatt Zilara Cap Cana makes arrival effortless. It was a seamless Uber ride and much cheaper than booking something through the hotel!

The Vibe

Hyatt Zilara shares its grounds with its family-friendly sister resort, Hyatt Ziva, but the Zilara side is strictly adults-only. From the moment you walk into the open-air lobby, you’re greeted with calm, tropical elegance, and a nice welcome drink! The property is modern, spacious, and designed for relaxation—with multiple pools, beachfront cabanas, and a full-service spa.

One King Junior Suite

Guests rave about the junior suites, which feature:

• Two king beds or one king with a seating area

• Private balconies with ocean or pool views

• Optional swim-up suites for direct pool access

Rooms are spacious, stylish, and stocked with thoughtful touches like rainfall showers, plush robes, and stocked minibars. They kept this mini bar STOCKED!! Did I end up taking home 5 bags of peanut M&M's with me? Maybe... Am I ashamed? absolutely not.

Let them know if you are celebrating anything and they will hang a door sign on your s=door before you arrive! They also left us with a bottle of champagne and desserts! Not only on the first day, but there was a new dessert each day!

Waves

Great food, we went here after we had already gone to Chinola. It was our last night and we wanted to get in all the restaurants! Classic Steakhouse, with great steaks and salads.

Chinola

Chinola was vibe. Set right on the beach, a beautiful open space concept, and delicious food. We ordered the fried fish and it was some of the best fried fish I have every eaten.

Tempest Table

Highly recommend a reservation here. It is on the ZIVA side so families will be there as well and it was a long wait to get a table. The food was good! Nothing that blew our socks off but everything we ordered was tasty and we would go back!

The Navigator Grill

Right by the pool on the Zilara side. Perfect for a light lunch and delicious pizzas!

Journeys

This Indian food was to die for! I got the butter chicken and it was the best all inclusive Indian food you could ask for. Sure it wasn't incredibly authentic, but I would not pass up going back!

The Pier (Buffet), Coffee Republic, and Room Service

All-inclusives are all about food and Hyatt Zilara does not disappoint. Their buffet had endless delicious and fresh options; ahi tuna seared to perfection, any cut of steak grilled to your liking. The coffee republic kept us caffeinated throughout the entire stay, which is a necessity for me. Lastly, the room service is one at the top of my list every time I am in an all inclusive and Hyatt Zilara came in clutch with their room service. There were endless amounts of food in this resort and something to please even the pickiest of eaters.

Wellness & Activities

• Zen Spa with hydrotherapy circuit and massage treatments

  • FYI: We attended their timeshare presentation that was about 90 minutes for $100 hotel voucher that we then in turn used for a day pass at the Spa!

• Fitness center with ocean views and group classes. We actually went to the gym multiple times because it was HUGE and there was room for everyone.

• Daily activities like yoga, dance lessons, and beach volleyball

If you’re using Chase Ultimate Rewards®, you can transfer points to Hyatt at a 1:1 ratio for a high-value redemption. This means you can essentially have a completely free vacation if you can cover flights as well! My husband and I love to book a few days in an all inclusive right after the holidays. That way we have a little vacation and it doesn't break the bank! Especially if I book it with points, that's when you truly feel like you have uncovered something magical!
